How to Get What You Want
Do you ever wonder why you aren’t getting what you want from life? For many of you, the answer to this question is yes. If you answered yes, then you will want to know why. Let me tell you a little secret; you aren’t getting what you want because you don’t really believe that it is there for you to have.
Times are tough. The economy is strangling much of this country and as a result, many people are financially desperate. Have you ever wondered how it is that the rich keep getting richer and the poor keep staying poor?
There is one thing that differentiates the rich from the poor; rich people have a knowingness that what they want is already there for them to have. They expect it and therefore believe it is their right to possess it. They are not angry, desperate, or arrogant about it. They are just certain that they already have it. They create the space to achieve their greatest desire based on inner expectation. Rich people, who keep getting richer, have no doubt. They are 100% certain. Remember, being rich isn’t just about money.
Now, you may ask, “How do I create a space and what exactly does that mean?”
Creating a space is about making room for what you want. It means that you are fully committed to doing whatever it takes to bring about that which you want. You must work on what you believe to be true for you and make shifts in how you think about what you deserve, so that your thinking and believing is in alignment; thus, creating a space for receiving. You must also use a microscopic lens as you look at the thoughts that underlie what you desire.
If you doubt that you are worthy of abundance, in any form; love, riches, professional success, you will undermine the manifestation of it. If you fear that you won’t get what you want then you will push the very thing you think you want farther away.
Married 12 years, this couple discussed how they are at a stalemate. They are both on the fence about taking a chance to rekindle their relationship. They question whether or not their mate can be the kind of person that they need. They have two children and are, right now, putting off divorce, staying together for the children. They doubt whether or not they can rekindle spark that they once had for each other.
Closing yourself off to possibility automatically eliminates the existence of what you desire. I discussed creating a space for healing with this couple. That means that if they are to work on their marriage, they must fully commit to creating a space for repair; allowing themselves to give and receive love from each other. You can’t heal a relationship if you are expecting one person to make all the changes or to shoulder all the blame. If you do this, then you assume no responsibility for your part in the success or injury within the relationship. This couple must decide how fully committed they are to creating a space for healing and reconnecting. Otherwise, there is no chance for their relationship to move forward.
Creating a space for change and manifesting what you want involves the belief that it can happen, the desire for it to happen, and the expectation that it will happen. These three elements, in full alignment, are magical. Then comes the action.
Think about what you truly want in your life. How much do your desires match what you honestly believe you deserve and whether or not that thing that you want in your life already exists for you, waiting for you to take possession of it?
Let go of the negative beliefs that block you from creating a space for you hearts’ true desires to manifest and in doing so, you will never again question “Why don’t I have what I want in my life?”
